YOUR STAY AT AITÉ
Each room and casita at Aité is named after an essential element of the indigenous communities. Our ocean view rooms and beach Cabins offer the comfort of a resort in a natural and unblemished setting. The design of each of the 17 units at AITÉ Eco Resort was inspired by the architecture and color palette of the indigenous people and built using sustainable natural materials, including our own sustainable wood plantation.
OUR ROOMS
At Aité Eco resort we have two types of double rooms, all of them located in the terrace area, very close to the small pool, the social areas and reception. Some of these rooms have a view of la sierra, while others have a wonderful distant view of the sea and the palm trees.
Double room with Orchid View
Bunku y Murawa, are are the most simple rooms we have. These rooms back to grand ma’s orchid and have a small terrace where you can seat to enjoy the orchids and the birds that come to visit. . They are equiped with two twins or one king bed, a private bathroom with views of the greeen spaces around and all the amenities offer at Aite Eco Resort. These rooms are located very close to our reception an social areas such as the boutique, the TV and game rooms and our delicious restaurant Wazalé.

Double room with a garden view
Nimuñi, is a cozy double room with a private deck opening up to Grandma’s garden, where you can sit and watch the high peaks of La Sierra Nevada and listen to the bird songs. It is equipped with a queen size bed, a bathroom with a wonderful view of the surrounding green space, a fan, a mini safe, a mini bar, reading lamps and an internal telephone. This room has a wonderful terrace with a view of the mountains and does not have a sea view.
ROOM WITH A DISTANT OCEAN VIEW
A few steps from the small pool, on the upper part our resort are our double rooms. With a distant view of the ocean, these rooms are perfect for those who love the beach, but enjoy having the reception, restaurant and social areas nearby. These rooms were named in honor of the Arhuaco and Kogui cultures that live in the mountains of the sierra, and that is why we chose words in their language, representative of their culture. The upper rooms with a distant view of the ocean are Zugi, Sumeia, Mockuy, Ñui and Saja we chose a little different from the other and have been uniquely designed to provide utmost comfort and coziness to our guests.

OUR CASITAS
Our beach cottages are a delight for those who love to feel the sand under their feet and sleep with the lullaby of the ocean waves. These beach cabins are designed to provide the greatest possible comfort to our guests. Our architecture and exclusive local decoration; gives each casita a unique style. All of them have a large terrace/sitout where you can enjoy the the little pleasures of life like a good conversation, a good book, a bottle of wine or a yoga session all in the company of the humming waves and playful birds.
Standard – Heritage Beach Cottage
Maitta and Mojuui, our standard and Heritage beach cottages are cozy and perfect for those couples who want to wake up at the foot of the waves. They are located on the beach just a few steps from the sea. The architecture of these rooms is a refreshing blend of traditional style and local indigenous techniques. We use thatched roofs combined with modern design elements and elegant touches of stone and wood. These cottages allow you to experience the small joys of life like a shower in the semi-open bathroom or relax on the sit-out on the colorful hammocks which are perfect for finding inspirations by the romantic sunrises and sunsets. The interior was designed exclusively for the resort, enhancing the individual character of each cabin.
CASITAS DELUXE
Ama, Shishika and Sawaina are our deluxe suite cottages for those couples who want to enjoy the greatest possible comfort in a spacious room. The private terrace of each of these cottages has a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea, ideal for couples. These casitas are located on one side of the beach in a privileged position and have been decorated with Wuayuu elements exclusively designed for Aité by the renowned Wayuu artisan, Conchita Iguaran. They are also the most spacious and upscale casitas we have.
Superior King Beach Cottage,s
Katto’ui, Jamma, Iwana and Wui are individual cabin set in the two-story beachfront cottages with an open view of the ocean. Each two story building consists of two cabins and can accommodate up to 4 people. Each cabin has a king bed and two sofa beds that convert to twin beds and are perfect for families or couples who enjoy having a large space. The second floor cabins have an unparalleled view and is undoubtedly one of our guest favorite. Given its design and distribution it is ideal for families or groups of friends who want to be together but independent, for example children downstairs and parents upstairs or vice versa or one family in each cabin. It should be noted that they are independent cabins with seperate accesses.
Superior Queen Beach Cottage
Sinduli and Kale Kale are our superior queen cottages, these are very comfortable and spacious cabins with an ideal floor plan to accommodate large families with children or friends. Their space is specially designed to provide comfort to those families and friends who enjoy being together yet have a spacious room. Each cabin has two queen sized beds and a sofa bed that converts to a twin bed having a maximum capacity of 4 people, they are ideal for families, group of friends and/or siblings.

“A paradise an hour and a half drive from Santa Marta”
I was there for a week with my family and friends. It is spectacular, it was a unique experience, a beautiful and isolated beach, with incredible landscapes of the Sierra Nevada, cabins on the beach super comfortable and well set up, swimming pool on the beach, and the delicious restaurant, part of the plan was to challenge us to know all the delicious dishes on the menu. The staff was more than friendly. Highly recommended. July 2021
